Where are you at now? That must be a tough decision - many of us have been there, it is agonizing trying to figure out what to do. I hope whatever you decide it works out for you. It is a tough decision. I left in 2013 when they were running around screaming "the rapture is coming" and planning to furlough 2000 pilots. I went to AWAC to be home based and decently compensated. Now I wish I would have roughed out the 2-3 years of downgraded displaced reserve.
The pros for me coming back are keeping longevity for pay and 401k, remaining home based (NYC) and back in the left seat in short order considering the need for qualified Captains. It will be a real kick in the uprights loosing 4 years of seniority
