Hypocrites. They teach us the importance of fatigue management yet abuse the fatigue system, they purposely seek termination. Thank god I'm not one, yet. Always a liability and never an asset. If we were, it wouldn't be such a PITA just to commute home after fatigue or sick calls, or fix the schedules. Just you wait new hires. Once the honeymoon is over, you'll get the same treatment as us senior pilots have. I don't care if they slap $$$ in my face, this place has a lot of owning up to do.

I've already flown with a couple FO's that have mentioned they deliberately avoid calling in fatigued because they know it will probably be converted to an MA, or at least they'll lose the pay. One even mentioned they didn't want to do it because of the stipulation in the flow that, if there are any disciplinary measures currently on file, you can be withheld from flowing. Rumors are the company is dishing out step letters more often these days. How is the loss of pay, threat of discipline and possible loss of flow due to discipline not coercing people into flying when they shouldn't?
