The truth always gets out. The Cabal knows it's in a bind, or they wouldn't lock themselves in a room. If it was anything but covering their butts, they would handle this in plenary, in open session.

Why?

The only plausible reason is that the polling data doesn't line up with the diktat of the Dirty Dozen. Now they're caught.

Elections are coming, and some of these clowns would rather have cushy 24.J full time officer positions than commute to New York. This is their reward for sticking with the Cabal. They also know they are marginalized by the actual majority of Delta pilots, and that their plan is unworkable.

To my reps I say do your jobs, ignore the political games played by nihilist bloodsuckers, and send the negotiators in to get the deal that YOU KNOW the majority wants. Get back in plenary, give each other the hairy eyeball across the horseshoe, get Phil Comstock back on the phone, and get the facts laid out for everyone to see.

This is the most dysfunctional, rudderless and cowardly MEC we have ever had. If these clowns were running the show in 2006, we would all be working for US Airways.
Remember this post when the TA results come out. 60/40 fail, worst case, if they bring us a TA modified below our current table position, with surprise scope nuggets and the current AIP's.
