A TA? I could only wish. Look at what it took for these clowns just to give direction. I'm not afraid of a vote, and I'm certainly not afraid of having my words dragged up for review. My predictions from 2015 have held up pretty well. What if it turns out I'm right, and it passes? What if the Delta pilots really prefer a rational agreement today, versus five years of nothing and then maybe three percent per annum?

Looking at the (minuscule) amount of information coming out of last week's meeting, I think that there is still enough to make some educated guesses about what happened. They reviewed the polling data, then they went into either council caucus or executive session (take your pick; I'm still pretty raw about having MY future decided behind closed doors). They gnashed their teeth for a while. They conducted a second review of the polling data, and then twelve turned out to really be just five.

That tells me that the wind has shifted, and that the majority of Delta pilots are no longer impressed by the pandering that got most of these clowns elected.
