I looked at the Tumi and quickly eliminated it. I didn't like the design of the bag as much, and I think the warranty is only 5 years. It's a lifetime warranty on the Briggs and Riley and it also covers damage caused by the airline (not sure where Tumi stands on that).
You can get a 20% discount on the B&R so the one I got ended up at $400. Where I work we get a nice discount on some Tumi items so I think the Tumi bag would've ended up costing a little less than the B&R.
