Are you ready for it?

In an unprecedented move compared to other industry peers, Delta will be raising the max out of pocket by thousands of dollars in 2017.

The Gold HSA plan will go from $2,500/$5,000 max out of pocket to $3,800/$7,600 max out of pocket (deductible remains the same).

The Silver HSA plan will go from $2,500/$5,000 max out of pocket to $5,100/$12,800 (deductible remains the same).

Are you and your family ready to pay up to $7,800 more (not counting premium increases) in 2017?

Don't go blaming Obamacare, it has nothing to do with it. No other airline is making these drastic changes.

You misread the numbers.

For 2016 the numbers are the same as what you stated.

The 2016 Gold HSA family plan is $3,800/$7,600 max out of pocket. $2,500/$5,000 max out of pocket is after deductibles or on top of the $1,300/$2,600 deductibles.

The 2016 Silver HSA family plan is $5,100/$12,800 max out of pocket. $2,500/$5,000 max out of pocket is after deductibles or on top of the $2,600/$7,800 deductibles.

You probably misread the 2016 plan comparison chart thinking the max out of pocket was inclusive of the deductible. It is actually on top of it. I can see how you could have made the mistake.
