Here's my take. You're very competitive! I wouldn't worry about what goes on once you're hired, until you're hired. Getting a flight simulator program seems to me to be a waste of money. Get a few cases of beer, so that you and your friends can have a party, once you're offered the job. Based on what you've shown in your credentials, you'll fit right in and most probably will sail through any of the training programs. Good luck, Marine.
