Default AIP

Delta and the Air Line Pilots Association's Negotiating Committee today reached a Comprehensive Agreement in Principle (AIP) for a new Pilot Working Agreement.

In a statement to news media, Delta said it "will respect ALPA's process as the Master Executive Council (MEC) deliberates on this industry-leading package of pay, benefits and work rules."

The Comprehensive AIP will be finalized in the coming days for the Delta MEC's review and consideration of whether to present it as a Tentative Agreement for a ratification vote by the Delta pilots. The total ratification period could take up to two months.

Delta and ALPA have been in negotiations for more than nine months, six of which have been with assistance from National Mediation Board mediators.
