But, yes a "rig" guarantees a minimum pay per day and can be calculated a number of different ways (Atlas uses a goofy formula of paying one hour of pay for every 4.95 hours away from base which equals approximately 4.85 hours for a full 24 hour day - it is less for the first and last days of a trip). Ideally, rig or min credit, or whatever your CBA calls it is compared on a daily basis to actual hours flown and min guarantee and the pilot is then paid the greater of those numbers.
And K4 folks, congrats! I hope this TA meets and exceeds your personal minimum requirements! Of course, we have no idea of the details, but the outline sounds pretty good!
