I don't understand why a transition is a big deal, we get mixed in with the newhires and call it a day. I'm trying to look at it from an operational standpoint while leaving emotions out of it and it's not adding up. Newhires do FO on FO sim training so adding us into the mix doesn't really slow down anything or take up really any sim time in an appreciable amount. I think a better question would be how many 175 FO's in ORD have bids in for a West Coast base where staffing seems to be tighter? If they're not getting a transfer and were holding back 175 FO's in ORD from upgrading than that doesn't make any sense. Whatever anyways I'm going on vacation and was going to bring my books to study now I don't have to worry about that anymore lol.
