They offered on the spot and were almost put off that I said I wanted to sleep on it.
9E on the other hand put me up in a hotel the night before the interview, positive space ticket both ways, and after an early start at their HQ, made me feel like a celebrity. Employees welcomed me as they came into work, they wished me luck. One guy even came up and shook my hand and said he was pulling for me. A bit strange, but classy.
The interview itself was very professional. An HR rep, a pilot in uniform, and just a smooth experience the whole morning. Was offered on the spot as well, but it felt like they genuinely wanted me to say yes instead of expecting me to say yes. Big difference.
To my peers at AW, if you want to be treated like the pro you are, give 9E a good look. With my previous 121 time and NYC flying, I should be upgrading in a less than a year. I start training in a couple weeks and can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store. Good luck to you guys!
Sounds nice and Professional for sure. I don't blame you for taking the job there especially if you can have an easy commute. Upgrade time and QOL is usually the top things in the selection process. Sounds like you might have found them both. Good Luck.
