Really? How so? Because someone told you the goal is to lose flying? I'm pretty sure you mis-read what that person was telling you. If not, let me clarify. The goal for Envoy-from AA down to Envoy managers-is growth. More flying, not less. Pay increases are part of that. Opening an entirely new base is also part of it.
The CRJs are the least of anyone's worries. They are staying for the time being. But long term Envoy's future is primarily E175s with a small amount of E145s. In our contract we have 40 E175s guaranteed plus options for 90 more. With our increased staffing levels and 50 new hires a month we are working towards seeing the 90 options start arriving late next year.
But hey...don't listen to us. Mesa is always hiring.
