Well I went back and looked. There was one month when I had to drop quite a bit because life happened. Most months I drop 2-3 days, except for that one month when I had to drop the majority of it which brought the average up to a little over 4 days dropped/month over 9.5 months. Definitely not 60 days though. Don't forget training pay is actually $1000/month and $750 per diem, so my first 2.5 months here I made $2500.
Oh yeah I guess it is $1000 and $750 for training pay. I just thought of it as $1750 of ****ty pay per month. Haha. I'm sure training pay alone must be a breaking point for a lot of prospective new hires.
I think your average new hire can expect about $29k + $6k in per diem in their first year based on a 2.5 month training schedule. Probably not many airlines nowadays, regional or otherwise, where one should expect that little in pay in their first year.
