My buddy who got hired last year had a difficult time covering the three different airports that constitute the LAX domicile (ONT, SNA & LAX). Each airport is separated by about an hour drive with very little public transportation. Is it better to stay East, unless you are willing to move? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
LAX 737 is required to cover 3 airports. Crash pads and hotels are expensive. PHL has lots of available crash pads at around $250-300/ mo. CLT crash pads require a car or uber. I'm A CLT commuter and just get hotel rooms. There are several under $50/night.
DCA wasn't good for me. Lots of early departures and late returns. Hotels and crash pads are expensive.
