Personally, I don't think so. However, I got on at an OK time, where the sub-3 year upgrade still existed. My QOL as a senior FO is pretty good right now. (bypassed a transcon upgrade.)

I may never get a lay-flat deadhead or an ice cream sundae, but a pilot job is a pilot job. I'm holding out for eventual pay parity.

Yeah, the infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired. You're on your own when it comes time to take care of anything HR related, etc, because they hire low tier everybody. Nothing will be easy and no one will return your calls when you have a personnel, HR, payroll, etc issue. You just have to keep blowing up the phone lines and then call the union. I doubt it's that bad at Delta, etc, but I don't know.

I really hate to say it, but yeah, if you can make 1st year work, "it's better than your regional." That being said, there are very few Non-Regional airline jobs I'd recommend NK over at this time. Perhaps Allegiant and Frontier, but other than that, go someplace else if you can. If not, come here. You'll have a type to make you competitive and if all else fails, a decent, but not amazing career.
