If you can, look at car buying services through COSTCO or Sam's. I used COSTCO when I bought a car in 2001 (last time I bought a car for my use!). I saved about $3,000. I'll be in the market for a replacement for this car next spring but looking now.
Pentagon Federal CU advertises a car-buying service. It doesn't look real useful.
