Do we have to give the entire history of every contract negotiation, multi-party talk, and arbitration argument and award over the last two decades that led to the current flowthrough agreements? It's long and complicated and has evolved and this is what is on the books right now. And surely it will change even more. I don't think you are going to get an easy answer.
And yes, you are correct, the flow is currently more beneficial to the pilots who have been waiting years of their lives for it compared to those who haven't.
