Hi guys a couple of quick questions. Without having to dig through a lot of posts can somone please answer the following? I'm a 757/767 Captain for United trying to help out a good friend.
1: What are competitive minimums for Replublic?
2: How junior is PHL & EWR?
3: How's new hire training?

1: In the current regional hiring climate, If they have 1500 hours and a pulse, they're almost guaranteed an interview at any regional they apply for.
2: EWR is being awarded to new hires and the junior line holder has a 4/16 hire date.
PHL is also being awarded to new hires and the junior line holder is a 2/16 hire.
3: I recently went through the training program as a transfer. Having already gone through a part 121 training program, it was easy. We had a few new hires in class that struggled a little, but were given a fair shot. It's not terribly uncommon to receive extra sims or extra time to complete IOE. The fact is regionals are struggling to find pilots, so they will do all they can to get people through.
4: Any advice how to crack the code to get an interview at United would be greatly appreciated.
