I live in Houston and will be commuting. Envoy's plan is for me to finish ATP-CTP class starting the 17th and jump right into indoc on the 24th... however, I haven't been able to get answers for a few things so far:
1) Is initial bidding conducted by airframe THEN base? (obviously only applies to the 145... CRJ & 175 would automatically determine ORD/DFW... assuming this excludes LGA)
2) If, for some reason, I am only left with the CRJ... what are my options regarding switching over to the 145/175 (for an eventual DFW bid)? Will I be stuck on the 700 for a long time or can I bid to switch to a different airframe? Is there an initial seatlock or only after an airframe change?
3) [part of #2 kinda]... if I am awarded 145 ORD... how long would it take to get back to DFW?
4) Yes, my questions are getting tedious, but thanks for sticking in so far... what are the company regs concerning switching airframe at same base in the long term (i.e. seatlock for situations if I was currently on 145 @ DFW and really wanted to get on the 175)
Thanks in advance... I tried to research as much as possible and I know it might seem like i'm being picky... just looking to clear up all the questions I have had.
At what time on Friday did they called you with the offer? What happens after the call? Is there a another phase prior to starting class? How do you schedule your class date?
