I know 3 guys and only 1 made it through the review. That's a 33% pass rate. And one of the guys turned down had been a Air Force 2 pilot. Go figure.
The guy who was probably the worst pilot in my squadron ended up flying the C-32, and flew the VP many, many times. It's the Air Force, some guys get ahead by doing a good job, others are just good ass kissers.
