I'm ready to strike if it comes to that. To vote yes on a new contract I need DAL/UAL/AA or better. This is simply making the best of a bad situation. The MEC views it the same way and I'm voting yes.
I've seen your posts before and I know you are a stand-up guy. I know you mean well, and want what's best for the pilot group in general. But calling the MEC out and a portion of our pilot group dimwits isn't helping.
Yes- dimwits is a bit harsh considering when I was in the regionals, i wouldve been a yes vote, but its the big picture thats being ignored here however, and its irksome. Im not calling out the MEC, im simply stating that they know that a majority of pilots would be alienated if the MEC didnt allow for this "raise". Tell me that you see its not a payraise Seekingblue.- Or explain your dissent.
And its about time we get ****ed off with these tactics.
