Curly and Harwood and Hanson and Parker and all the rest of those guys said it could never happen.
They said a lot of things over the last year. All of which were wrong.
Thankfully, I think the Delta pilots are done listening to that group. Their credibility is shot forever.
The battle is over. This thing is going to pass memrat by 70% .
Come on over and have a beer with us rocket surgeons.
We're more fun than those old Moakists anyway.
At the risk of too much backslapping JM, the NC, and MEC should be congratulated. It wasn't pretty but it was very transparent and, in my opinion, handled almost perfectly by balancing pilot input and incorporating the most current industry conditions. These guys must have spent a ton of time away from home and loved ones on our behalf and it's very much appreciated.
The No vote by our pilot group last year is something to be very proud of. It set the stage for the entire industry to break a log jam of mediocre gains since the dark days of the 2000s. Look what's happened since that vote. It's almost as if everyone was waiting for that to determine which direction to move, many after years of fruitless negotiations. Cheers.
