Management is once again one step ahead of the jetblue pilot group. The same way the PEA drama would unfold, ELT would have the PEA chiseled in granite months before "the direct relationship discussions" were complete.
I think this will be a big part of what management has already planned in our first TA. There will be no back pay. Soon T-Rowe price will be replaced as our 401k planning and Empower Financial will take over. Once again likely massive cost savings for the company which will off-set the company provided/Alpa negotiated increased % of contribution to our 401k retirement plan.
The term of the decade? "Cost Nuetrality"
Is this a horribly negative thing for the pilot group? Nope. We all have jobs and it could be better, but it could be worse.
BTW, the first TA that we vote on is a guaranteed YES/PASS.
