I don't know where you're at in Southeast, but it's more like $160-$200/day (for your average 14-hour day), and I've heard at least one operator in southeast is scaling
back pay next summer.
Probably different for floats, but I can't think of any operators that are hiring first-year AK pilots to fly floats right now.
Who's hiring $400/day first year? :P
