Sorry if I sound dumb, I'm just a confused outsider here.
There are multiple tests (cog, personality, knowledge and panel). Delta has this snazzy point system where it tells them whether or not to hire the pilot candidate. You can do well on all of the written/computer tests but completely bomb the panel interview and get a no. I am not too sure if they weigh every test the same. Actually no one knows.
If they strongly feel that an applicant is no good, they give a double no.
