It may be that the top 570 or so on our list have an equity stake in the company when we are IPO'd or are bought out. I'm not sure if you are eligible for that if you leave / quit. Some people have said it could be 200-400K.
Also , try interviewing when your 48 yo and have been a captain for 15 years. I'm sure your enthusiasm meter just isn't the same as when you were younger.
I think Spirit has a lot of younger captains in their 30s still and would make sense. Most of the guys leaving F9 are under 3 years and FO's hence the training contract.
