Uhhh, I disagree. We are NOT ignoring them and that is why you have a problem with it. We are getting the block hour floor for reducing the compliance level. I get it if you do not think that is a fair trade. I don't but I don't see it as being far off enough to vote no. IMO the company is not going to sign a contract that they are going to immediately be out of compliance with. Would you?

I don't understand why we have ANY concessions in this environment. JV language just further erodes our top end job numbers and will affect the careers of those here with more time ahead of them than myself.

My answer to your second paragraph you probably won't like. Negotiations is a two way street and, especially with the NMB involved, can be very tricky. The right balance needs to be struck between demanding and conciliating. As far as the JV language eroding top end jobs, I think it can be argued that the GBH minimum actually protects more high end jobs....
