That cleaning stuff is funny. The legacies give FREE business class standby to even their regionals, and nobody is expected to lift a finger to clean up other people's snot rags. That's what cabin cleaners are for. Not pay $80 or whatever it is and clean an A321. I think I'll just ZED from now on, or are they going to get rid of those too? Hate to sound whiny and I do understand that it's a privilege and not a right blah blah blah, but still, it's a matter of principle.
Hate to break it to you but pass travel at the regionals the past few years was horrible. Maybe some of the wholly owned did ok but working for a United feeder blew.
Cabin cleaners? They did away with those at United Express while I was there too. Plane was cleaned as a RON and that was it. Crew (inflight mostly) cleaned up.
