The details are not yet for public consumption, but this AIP was done largely due to the efforts of a few tough pilots, the Local 769, and the personal work of IBT Airline Division Director Dave Bourne. The old plantation owner has left for retirement. Waiting around for attrition had never worked at AJT. What worked was the tenacious efforts of a small group of guys and girls for over 12 years. Hard, painful work, including a three week strike in 2009 wore down the management. It would have been achieved a lot sooner if 36th street wasn't so infected with scabs and compromised "pilots". These guys have actively tried to scuttle any serious negotiations between the two parties.
