For whatever reasons skw may have in fact been the place to hang your hat well things change. These two policies put in place are in my view of course minute attempts to appease a pilot group who is simply under compensated in todays market. Ill reiterate again that they only really help to benefit skw who I think going forward will be the group who is in fact no longer filling classes to the level they want because simply of money for a new hire. They are disguised to look beneficial as if the company cares but the reality is they are just saving themselves and protecting the product they have to offer to the majors going forward.
Lol the ink isn't even dry on the AA WO new compensation and you are hemming and hawing about how underpaid we are at Skywest? Relax. Skywest will increase compensation to stay competitive in the next contract.
As far as work rules/soft pay/QOL go, Skywest is above the rest.
