their recruiters were full of @%&! when I went their. I found that out after about a week of being there which was obviously too late.

they said don't worry about the dept because you'll be at a major right after you graduate and you'll be making over 75K within a couple of years.

they claimed their students went directly to the majors. never even mentioned anything about flight instruction/building hours or even the regionals.

they would show you the beech jet that they had and said that if you and your friends took it up for 1 hour with an instructor to do just 1 approach each that that was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

about the only thing that I miss is sioux hockey

are they still telling people that you need to get a float plane rating.

Eric, I don't know how long ago you were here, but after reading that I'm doubtful you even were. I don't know what the going rate for a private is outside of UND, but 3k seems pretty low. When I first visited here 3 years ago, no recruiter told me I was going to have a slot with the majors waiting for me upon graduation or that I can count on 75k in a few years. I think your full of ****, and that your hearing is about as good as your ability to spell. If you had half a brain you would have figured out that all the instructors are here to build time; they didn't turn down the major airline job and 75k because they loved to fly warriors so much.
UND dosen't have or ever had a beech jet as far as I know so I have no idea what your talking about. I personally know of no one with a sea plane rating, nor have I ever been told that I need to get it. The sea plane isn't even UND's, it's the FBO's. I have seen it up probably 3 times in my 3 years here. I'm glad you decided to leave, I wouldn't want you bringing the school down.
