Id imagine its a lot worse with guys fresh out of the military. In new hire class, your right i got sick of a lot of the miltary guys stories after a while but i had to remember this was their whole life for 20+ years and they probably didnt get out of that world much. But the captains i fly with who have been out of the military for a while are probably my favorite. The personalites are fairly consistant and far as not being overly douchey and also not overly laid back either. Easy to talk to and have good stories of both civilian life and military.
