I think it will have a minimally negative impact. I assume you guys are talking about the increase in the ALV on wide bodies by 2 hours - 1 hour on each end. Think about it like this - although the TLV is the same for the whole year they can now get 1 more hour in the most limiting months.
Very similar to switching July and August to 30 days although much less of an impact. The July/August deal was an instant 3.3% productivity increase across all fleets. Raising an 84 hour max ALV to 85 is at worst a 1/85 or about a 1.17% productivity improvement on certain fleets.
Not a big deal by itself, and only on certain fleets but if you add this 1.17% to the 3.3% increase of the 30 day months we now have about a 4.5% productivity increase on these WB airframes.
Of course to see the big picture we would also need to add in the stuff we received that lowered our productivity - there were a bunch of items in C2012, and some in this current TA such as increasing training day, vacation etc. So its not all doom and gloom but by itself the ALV widening does increase our productivity.
