IMHO it should be a law against boarding an airplane over a given temp. I had a similar experience in ALB but it was the station manager bitching because we said no boarding. Temp in cabin was 122F.....
You said it was an old guy complaining.... I think he has the full right to complain.. Maybe not as bad as you describe it, but he paid for a ticket and doesnt want to sweat is a$$ off....
After all.... Old people die first in extreme heat....
Well yeah he was old, but it was "warm" not too terribly hot...........either way he could of walked.....................Im sure he would of broke a sweat then
PS. I was slightly annoyed that our company had this airplane is use, it is August, mid-afternoon and the Rampers in EWR could care less if the Aircart was working etc...............the point is, We did what we could do help the situation we were hot too, and I just didnt appreciate the rude comment at the end................... (The heat in the airplane was nothing compared to what I experienced in the SAAB in LGA last summer............................)
