I spoke to the PD yesterday and got the following info:

There will be one class in October and probably not another one until after the first of the year.

Interviewing stopped last Wednesday and probably won't resume for a year.

When they resume interviewing, having the type rating would most likely be a requirement to get called for an interview.

Under the current plan, there are enough people in the pool to meet all of next year’s requirements.
