Was told today some confusing info regarding the bid system... looming for clarification.

Instead of using PBS and letting pilots build their own trips each month they made it seem like they build an entire month's worth of trips and we bid on a monthly line, almost like bidding on an entire package of trips instead of individual trips... why would they do that?
