Here's the deal:
ERJ upgrade time is currently 2 years. JFK is going to be way junior for FOs, but way senior for CAs because the CRJs there will be all 900s. The CAs for the ERJs at JFK, that'll go junior as well.
ORD- very junior base. Statistically speaking, someone going to Mesa is most likely going to get the CRJ.

Yes this is true. Upgrade is the shortest on the dash-8 (1-1.5 years) and the longest on the CRJ (3-3.5 years). The erj is running roughly 2.5 years right now, I think, although an erj guy would know a little better.
