That would be really dumb of them not to zero out all the sick metrics. If someone had already used > 50 and the company tries to count that to screw them out of the perk for that, then they now have no incentive which was the whole purpose of that in the first place.
Getting the 50 hour lookback retro is to our benefit not the company. Some pilots will now not need to verify anything for a year.
