We've reviewed your background and qualifications for a role of First Officer and while we believe you are well on your way to fitting the bill, we'd like to hold your application for future new hire classes. Over the next few months, you may receive communication form our recruiting team regarding hiring events, meet and greets and/or next steps of your application. Please don't forget to periodically update your resume or application on file so we can continue to explore opportunities for you to join our team. We hope that being transparent in communicating this timeframe, you'll maintain interest in joining our team."

I haven't heard anything since getting that email. Anybody else received the same email? If so, have you actually gotten further communication and/or an interview? I live in FL and I figured they would at least email me to encourage me to go to the Aero Crew job fair next month in MIA...nope, nothing.
Thanks all!
I got a similar answer. When I went to the Allegiant booth at a job fair and discussed my resume and background with the guy there, he said it was a recency issue. Almost verbatim "Get 500 hours anywhere and come back". That is sort of what the email said ("on your way to fitting the bill"), just in different more specific words. Keep doing what you're doing, and keep your application/resume updated, and maybe get an interview once the application meets their cutoff. Don't expect anything else from them until either your application hits their trigger point, or you go to a job fair and ask them face to face whats missing in your application.
