That's not the problem and you know it. The industry average work rules for reserve are far better than what we have currently. 12 day off minimum reserve lines, no ready reserve, trip/duty rigs, etc. Our reserve section hasn't even been amended to be 117 compliant yet!

Would you rather not be JM and have them stop the flow?
I'd rather the company not have scared off 500+ pilots with their Comair II threats. Pilots we need right now.

Reserve pilots at AA are complaining about the same "get used everyday and get flown into days off" treatment. It's part of being a pilot. The guy that gets to fly 9 days a month for $300,000 a year is the exception, not the rule.
Except their reserve system is light-years ahead of ours. CS calling to offer trips in seniority order. Long call. No pre-assigned 4 AM RAP.

I have never done a JM that I didn't "want" to do.
Oh REALLY now? And how many MA's, PG's, or UA's did you get as a result?

Either grow a pair or grow up and accept the lifestyle of the profession you chose or take control of your life and find a new line of work. Because all I am hearing is a bunch of millennial cry babies whining that they can't have their cake cake and eat it too.
Sorry, but that's bull****. I had 8 days off last month, and talking with other pilots I know, there are a lot of people that are getting burnt out. In the ten years I've been at envoy, I have NEVER seen our QOL be worse than it is right now. That's not whining, that's simply fact. "Accepting the lifestyle" doesn't mean someone should live only to work. That's a miserable existence, and not something ANYONE is willing to sign up for, nor did they. The DFW CPO told me the other day that management is simply no longer able to hide the amount of crew cancellations anymore. Management lackies like cr700 had better wake up fast or the situation will spiral out of their control.
