Would depend on starting salary I presume. Once you're over 6 figures here the psychology favors staying because of the step back to go forward. Mathematically it makes better sense to leave, but in most cases people don't behave according to math or economics. Have a buddy at UPS that keeps directing me that way and I'm like the starting salary is what ? 50K. Yeah but the second year is... 170ish? But that first year!
