With the TSA now involved they do look at more than FAA and Driver records, it's pretty much a full-on criminal record check with whatever else the airline wants to look at.

What types of records are pulled by the airlines when they get to background check time? I understand the National Driver Registry and FAA records at a minimum, but is there anything else? I have heard through the grapevine they also call your university to verify your dates and diploma, and that some even pull your credit history. ANy info is sincerely appreciated.
