Naw, they already did that.
I'd say they need to do something really dramatic to attract people who are not geographicly bound. (ie in DFW, BOS, MIA, or SJU - there's no other choice.)
cl601, Don't forget to add all the Eagle guys with AA numbers... they were never furloghed, but have seniority at AA. On the other hand recall acceptance is an inverse function of seniority, probably a lot of B6 and NetJet Captains with AA recall rights which thay might not be inclined to exercise when the time comes.
Eagle wants 700 this year, and as of early to mid August had a net of 246 begin training and not yet resign...
It would seem that they will seriously miss that goal if they do not do something that makes a big splash.
I dunno, if its not a Letter 3 issue, maybe they're gonna double FO pay, and make it retroactive to the start of the contract. That would attract new meat and make (some) pilots on property happy too.
