This is mostly false, and our SAP is different from other airlines for one huge reason.

There is no reserve grid when the SAP is active.

Our SAP is completely unrestrictive when it comes to how many reserves they need each day. Every single pilot could drop Christmas if they want, and the system will allow it. Again, because there is no reserve grid to go by, its zeroed out for the SAP. This is why we SAP before our RD2 bidding. They use all the trips dropped to build up additional lines, and to see exactly how many reserves they will need each day. Then they do RD2

It is true they are manipulating the reserve grid, but this effects any trades or drops that you are trying to make post-SAP. Additionally, word is arbitration is almost over so we should get a final ruling on if the have to stop manipulating it or not.
