So the 14 AB FO vacancies-are any of those SFB? My hubs has the January class and I'm trying to follow the trends. I don't understand the seniority system since it works off of SSN-that's new to us. We're trying to determine how quickly he could hold SFB as a domicile.
The AB slots are a mix between FLL, PIT, PIE, OAK. If Sfb isn't available in class, VBD (virtual base domicile) would be a good option if available until he can hold Sfb. Vbd is like TDY, company paid hotel and transportation between whatever base they need you at and home. Vacancy bids are posted every month and he could potential hold Sfb before training is complete. Welcome aboard!
