I think the staffing situation and pilot's attitudes have hit rock bottem. I am optimistic we will negotiate something better then letter 3. No current pilot who has been around for awhile wants to see letter 3 extended unless it calls for all hiring at American to come directly from Eagle with no conditional language. Are you an Eagle pilot? If so based on your attitude I would assume you did not send management an email voicing your concerns. If the union needs your help in the future it would be greatly apperciated. Attitude reflects leadership and since yours is poor we could use your help to show management we are not going to take it anymore. In my discussions with our union leadership it has been conveyed to me that management is very concerned with the current situation of the airline and realize that it better be rectified soon. We have Peter Bolwer and Gerard Arpey's attention and we need to keep it until our demands are met.
