For more than 35 years Aspen Helicopters has provided safe, effective and cost-efficient air transportation services to private industry, government agencies and the general public while fostering an environment wherein employees are encouraged to grow with us.
Our fixed wing department consists of 5 Partenavia P-68s, 1 Piper Chieftain and 1 Merlin 3B. Missions include marine animal surveys, data acquisition surveys (photos, LiDAR, thermal, hyperspectral), charter flights and a number of others. We've been contracted for work from the Gulf Coast in Florida to the North Slope of Alaska. The variety of missions and locations keeps the job both exciting and challenging.
We are looking a pilot that is excited about aviation, has a positive attitude and is willing to put in the effort required to excel. Currently our needs require pilots to be qualified for 135 and our survey missions as well.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Commercial / instrument / multi
1000 TT
200 hrs Multi
135 experience
The ability to travel for up to 3 weeks at a time
Minimum requirements:
135 VFR minimums
Commercial Multi Engine / Instrument
The ability to travel as needed
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to manage customer requirements while providing safe operations
Residency in Ventura County CA preferred but not necessarily required.
