So a couple of quick questions. I have this interview coming up, everything on my record is almost spotless, current 121 crj900 FO, over 1500 multi time, over 3kTT, sim instructor, Eagle Scout, professor adjunct at a aviation university, recruiter with my current airline. My skeletons are a stop sign ticket that for some reasons comes up as a misdemeanor on my background check as a failure to obey a traffic Controll device, one checkride failure on the dash 8, and I had to resign from republic many years ago because I was just not ready to transition in to that big of jet being a low time steam gage pilot at the time. (Before the 1500hr rule). No Dui or any thing like that. ovisouly I am going to be very open with them about these matters but I am curious how bad are those things going to hurt me in an interview. Do I have a fighting chanch Or am I just fighting a loosing battle. Your advice and insite is greatly appreciated in advance.
