If you live in base it's ok to be junior. You will work everyday. If you don't want multi day trips then sitting ready reserve will pretty much guarantee that you are home most nights.

It all depends on how much or little you want to work.
I live in DFW. How does ready reserve work? I would like to be home as much as possible. What aircraft would be better for qol, 145 or 175? I don't care which aircraft I fly.
