I am not defending the those types, but I will defend a guy who quits his job cashes out his 401k to start a business. He employs 15 people who make a living, and has a chance to make 250k+ for his family. Punishing those risk takers with a 50% tax isn't fair because it isn't the same as earning 250k punching a clock.
